This website belongs to Hélène Desplechin, artist and photographer based in Madrid, Spain. You can reach her through the contact form.
Contact form. If you write to her through the form, the website receives your name, your email address and your message. They are used only to read and answer your message. The form is delivered by a third-party service, Web3Forms, which passes your message on to her email inbox. By sending a message you ask her to contact you, and that request is the basis for using your details.
She keeps your message only for as long as needed to answer it and follow up on your request, and then deletes it. Your details are not sold or used for advertising.
Visitor statistics. The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits, such as which pages are viewed and from which country. It does not use cookies and does not follow you across other websites.
Cookies. This website does not set cookies to track visitors, so there is no cookie banner.
Fonts and images. All fonts and images are served from this website itself. No third-party fonts are loaded when you browse.
Hosting. The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse.
You can ask to see the personal data held about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to limit or object to its use. Send your request through the contact form. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority; in Spain this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
The artworks, photographs and texts on this website are by Hélène Desplechin and may not be reproduced without her permission. The book covers on the Collaborations page belong to their respective publishers; the photographs used on them are by Hélène Desplechin.
This website links to Instagram, Flickr and the online shops and publishers of her books. Those websites have their own privacy policies.
